LOL, not me... someone had to work.
Since the seating position and size of the van intimidates Mrs McMike, she decided the best way to get 6 people to the train station this morning was to take two cars.
Her sedan, and the Mini.
She just get back to the train station and sent me this text.
"How do you turn on the lights"
This is what I sent her.
I kind of felt silly driving a seven passenger van to work by myself today.

So you have a 7 passenger car...and you didn't convince her to use it.
At least you got to park next to the Crosstour.

Maybe this will get her behind the wheel of it. She's driven my other one a few times, but is totally intimidated by it.
She has no problem driving the Mini, but there's something about the size of the van that screws her up.
On the bright side, our 12 year-old niece rode with her in the Mini, and thought it was pretty cool that people went out of their way to throw a thumbs up to them on the road. She has probably never had anyone say "NICE CAR!" while being shuttled around in an F150 or an Avalon.

Proof that the coolest cars are classic cars.

She also made a comment and said the van was "cool," which further proves your point.
Maybe it's because they are unique and stand out over what's on the road today? Maybe it's the crank windows? Who knows, but she's in the beginning of the "bratty little shit" phase of her life and hasn't smiled but once or twice since they got here. I expected a (roll eyes) when it took 5 minutes for the cabin to cool down once I turned on the AC in the van, but nope...

Sounds like fun! Driving in a classic make everyone happier than they were before. It's just how they work.
